Athletics

*Very Important: Every student who is trying out for a fall sport must be fully registered with the Appryse system. If not, the student will not be placed on a team. You must click the Appryse link on the website under Athletic forms or click here, follow registration process, upload health form and sign parent consent. Once fully completed, you will receive an email back confirming you are fully registered. If you have not received email, you are missing some steps. Again, this must be completed before your daughter can participate on a team.

Any student athlete participating in a fall sport must turn in both the athlete and guardian contract. Once final rosters are set for the fall teams, if the signed forms by both student and guardian are not turned in, the student will not be allowed to practice. Click on the link and make a copy of the contract after you have read the Handbook. The Athletic Handbook and forms needed to play a sport can be found at the bottom of the Sports Tryouts page. Completed forms must be returned to the Athletic Director or to the main office.

All students who still have uniforms from this last year, you need to turn them back to the athletic director as soon as possible.

Sports Tryouts

  • Tryouts for Fall Sports Begin on Monday, August 17: All returning Mercy student athletes that plan to play a fall sport will be required to try-out for their respective team.
  • Tryouts for Freshmen Students Begin on Monday, August 24: Any incoming freshman student who plans to play a fall sport will be required to try out for their respective team.
  • *Click here for Tryout Locations, Times and more information
